How did you became an organizer?
Written in the stars, I was born to organize. REALLY!! Just about every search of my birth date, time, and location together would agree on this. For awhile, I struggled to find my purpose in this chaotic world. As far back as a 6 year old, I knew I loved making spaces look and feel organized. However, it wasn't until many years and downfalls later that I realized that organizing was my true calling and now full-time job. I also have to give credit to a great friend who has been my biggest supporter and cheerleader, Dawn, without her I would not have taken this on to be my full-time gig.
Did you grow up in an organized home?
I didn't grow up in an organized household, my mother and sister together have been my biggest challenge. During most of my summer breaks, I would stay in doors and organize different rooms throughout my home. I never gave up as much as I felt that I was swimming against the stream. Above all they have showed me that patience is key for success and that there are many shades of grey when it comes to defining what it means to be organized.
What do you do on your free time?
I love being active; running, yoga, working out and walking are among my favorite active activities. However, staying up-to-date is an important aspect of my daily routine. Therefore I do spend a good amount of time listening, watching and/or reading up on new design trends, what studies are showing, new technologies, what not to wear, environmental issues, sustainability, among other things.
